Roar and counterplay
The staged roar grants nearby ordinary Frost Trolls 20% more damage, 25% more movement speed and 10% more visible size. Buffs do not stack or refresh while active. Leaders, wolves, Reavers and other species are excluded.
Focus the leader before his 0.6-second roar commit. A committed buff lasts through the source leader’s death. The Chieftain remains larger than buffed Trolls and smaller than an Orc Brute.
Introduction and readiness
The authored pack has two Trolls ahead and two behind on Snowgate’s penultimate wave. Hearthpine repeats the pack on waves 8, 10 and 12, after the initial shortcut lessons. Packs replace existing enemy budgets.
All eight movement directions use selected artwork, with v3 diagonal corrections. Actions use four authored cardinal views. The transparent portrait is the supplied derivative of the approved darker-blue design. Roar is silent. Balance remains provisional; physical-phone performance has not been measured. Runtime visual acceptance is still pending; this page does not imply campaign activation.
