Keep the crossing open

Whitebough’s road is open, but provisions and messages bound for Oathguard must still cross Frostspan. Hostile bands are gathering above Lake Glassmere’s frozen falls. Hold the bridge and watch the icy bank below it. The northern settlements must not be cut off again.

History

Frostspan joins the roads of Whitebough to the approach toward Oathguard Keep. Beneath its stone arches, cold water runs through the gorge toward Lake Glassmere. Provisions, letters and warnings all depend on this crossing; when it closes, distant settlements lose more than trade. After the defenders reopen the forest road, hostile bands gather at the bridge. A frozen side channel offers them another approach to the western bank. Holding both roads will keep the northern communities connected, though the purpose behind the repeated closures remains unresolved.

Two approaches

The main road and the frozen bank merge before the stone bridge and follow one winding road to the lower-right exit. Wave 4 warns for four simulation seconds before the first Trolls use the bank. Ice changes route distance only: ordinary movement, blocking, damage and crowd control remain unchanged.

Flyers follow a continuous route through the main road’s broad corridor. Oathguard Keep remains a coming-soon preview; no new boss, hero, tower or enemy unlock is added.

Victory

Frostspan holds. Provisions and messages can cross again, and the road toward Oathguard Keep lies open. The attacks have struck the same lifelines, but the purpose behind them remains unanswered.

Local validation

The first eight headless runs won with twenty lives using two ordinary mixed builds, level-one Marko, no permanent upgrades and seeds 42/77. Actual isolated Simulator validation is recorded separately in the local Frostspan review. These tests do not establish physical-phone performance or novice win rates.
