Bound to the shrine
Bound to the cursed energies of Mirewood, these spirits have grown stronger and harder to destroy. Their spectral bodies resist ordinary weapons, but focused magic can unravel their unnatural form.
These spirits are strengthened by the same corruption that reaches into Whispering Hills. Morvayne also calls them to the road during her final encounter.
Spectral Form and Soul Drain
Mirebound Wraiths phase for 2.5 seconds, followed by a 12–14 second cooldown. While phased, they move 25% faster and cannot be targeted, blocked or damaged by any damage type. They become vulnerable again when materialized.
Soul Drain restores 40% of actual damage dealt while engaged and materialized. It cannot drain during phasing.
Strengths and counters
Their 240 HP and 60% physical resistance let them protect the weaker Gravecallers. They have 2.5 times an ordinary Wraith’s health and move at roughly 78% of its speed.
Focus Mage fire between phases: Arcane hits deal 150% damage and elemental magic deals 125%. Slow movement gives overlapping towers time to attack; a single Barracks cannot hold a phasing group.
Discovery
Encounter a Mirebound Wraith to reveal its regular-enemy entry and Mirewood lore chronicle in the game’s encyclopedia.
